Images of Works of Art in Museum Collections: The Experience of Open Access
This report details the various approaches of 11 heritage institutions from the US and UK of making available images of public domain works from their collections. The institutions operate within various levels of openness and provide access in many ways, and it details the decision-making process leading to each institution's approach.
